Phi Sigma Pi has hosted a 5k run/walk called Pi Mile for the past twelve years. This year, Pi Mile benefits Phi Sigma Pi’s National Philanthropy, Teach for America.
Teach For America is a corps of recent college graduates of all academic majors and career interests who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools and become leaders in the effort to expand educational opportunity. They strive to eliminate educational inequality and work to ensure more students growing up today are given the educational opportunities that they deserve.
It is important to know that ALL proceeds will benefit the Teach for America with NONE of it going towards Phi Sigma Pi.
We invite you to come out and support the cause. In addition to supporting a great cause, you will receive a t-shirt for participating.
