Believe it or not, education can be fun! One of the major goals of the Scholastic Committee is to prove that learning can be enjoyable. Our events range from diversifying ourselves by eating at local restaurants that feature non-American food, watching controversial movies, taking advantage of local Lansing events, such as Silver Bells in the City and learning more about the stars through a trip to the Abraham’s Planetarium.

The Scholastic Committee plans events that are both enjoyable and educational. In the Spring, one of our largest events is Mock Awards which is a theme-based night where we recognize brothers for the quirks, achievements, and crazy personalities. We also recognize our Brothers for school and job-related achievements and for excelling in our Brotherhood through the Brother of the Month Award.

The current Scholastic/Recognition Co-Chairs are Emily Casari and James Campbell
